I heard a lot of people say things like, &quot;we need people to stop thinking of plants as a luxury item but as a necessity.&quot; But where&#039;s the LOVE in that? My mortgage is a necessity. Using the bathroom is a necessity. Wal-Mart sells necessities. Maybe we&#039;d all sell more stuff if plants were a necessary chore, but it certainly wouldn&#039;t be as creative and inspiring as you describe! Let&#039;s be a 100% guilt-free luxury.
