As the date for their annual convention neared, the Avon leadership team knew radical changes were ahead. Keeping their community safe became a top priority as we face the reality of gathering during a global pandemic. Continuing a long-time partnership, Avon and ZenGenius quickly shifted gears, switching to a flexible virtual format for 2020.
We know that shopping can be a bit intimidating these days, but retailers are doing their part to keep you safe and healthy. With a little bit of compassion, patience and togetherness we can all shop safe! Emceed by ZenGenius CEO Joe Baer, along with Jen Acevedo, Associate Publisher of VMSD, competitors took to the Zoom stage to compete in a modified version of the classic Iron Merchant Challenge. With a live audience watching from their homes, everyone tuned in with their favorite “quarantini” for a bit of creative competition. The challenge - create a compelling display to honor first responders in just 30 minutes.
